Don Luce, Curator of Exhibits at the Bell, retired last year. This is the last exhibit he organized and curated. In 43 years at the Bell he produced several shows on birds in the last decade or two, including travelling exhibits. e.g "Birds in Art" and a couple on JJ Audubon methods, artwork, and printing.
I was not able to see the entire production at Don's retirement celebration a few weeks ago, but I will go back to learn more. There is artwork (incl Audubon elephant folio prints), a digital animation of the evolution of the orders of birds, sample drawers of museum specimens, and more.
