All,

Much like Jasons recent post I tried to find some shorebirds at Lake Byllesby
no shorebird habitat to note. I however had great luck at 180th Street Marsh.
While looking through the marsh I heard the call of an avocet overhead I was
surprised to see two Whimbrels flying over with the avocet! They quickly flew
over the marshes and headed north. There is shorebird habitat at either end of
the marsh unfortunately not much visibility. Tried driving the back roads in
the area but could only find yellowlegs. Just wanted to give a heads up to
everybody that they still might be in the area if you can find the habitat.
