Saw a male and female American Wigeon this evening in some open water.
Very nervous and then flew around and around high overhead.
Nice to see something other than a Mallard.

Today I was able to see both the Snowy Owls in Ramsey, MN (Anoka County).
Took a couple of friends from church to show them.
The first one we saw was again up on the high tower west of Armstrong Blvd.
Then as we were leaving we saw a huge crowd outside their parked cars just
north of Coburn's.
Personally I have yet to see both the Snowy Owls in the city of Ramsey but I
know that there are 2 being reported.
I did see on today from 3-4pm on top of the large, large tower.
It apparently was in the field by the tower when a gentleman with 2
unleashed dogs disturbed it.

my neighborhood.
I have noted its presence for a few weeks in a row now.
I am assuming it is nesting nearby but I have not found its location due to
time restraints and such.
I think the nest might be near the intersect
