The snowy owl in the Arbor Lakes area of Maple Grove was again present this
evening though at a new location. The bird was perched on a streetlamp across
from the Hennepin County Library in Maple Grove, along Main Street near the
walking path. The bird flew from one pole to the next and eventually to some
condos across the pond. The highlight was hearing the bird yell out as a red
tailed
hawk flew over the area (never have heard a snowy screech before). The hawk
didn't bother the snowy and flew off. Hopefully the bird stays in the location
for a
while. A beautiful bird.

Happy New Year,
Fr. Paul Kammen
