later...But barely made it there as the birding was so good along the way!

BOREAL CHICKADEES—at several spots between CR11/15 and Whyte Rd intersection

AMERICAN THREE-TOED WOODPECKER—Adult female feeding juvenile male (Photo on MOU 
website Recently Seen) Along Whyte Rd about 3.6 miles west of intersection with 
Snake Trail/Cloquet Lk Rd, on south side in wet opening.


SPRUCE GROUSE—female about a mile east of Stoney River Forest Rd. 


BOREAL CHICKADEES—at several spots


GREAT GRAY OWL—Hunting at 10am about 2.1 miles west of intersection with Snake 
Trail/Cloquet Lk Rd

SPRUCE GROUSE family—Female with at least 2 tiny chick, maybe 3....Will post 
photo to MOU tomorrow. About 1 mile west of intersection with MN Hwy1 east of 
Isabella


YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHERS at several stops along all three of these roads.


OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER still singing across Comfort Lake
