Josh Watson and I sighted an adult female Barrow's Goldeneye in Fergus Falls on the Otter Tail River flowage (E Corvou/Concord). Swimming and courting with a male Common Goldeneye, look for full bright yellow bill (roadway paint strip color), steep forehead, elongated "mane," grayish mottled body with white neck contrast to chestnut head color. Perhaps the same individual wintering in this location as in recent years. mjb ---- Join or Leave mou-net: http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=mou-net Archives: http://lists.umn.edu/archives/mou-net.html
