Saturday, June 1, I refound the Bell's Vireo 1st post on this list serve. It was singing constantly from a group of shrubs right next to the hiking/biking trail in Shafer. To reach the trail, go to Shafer on Hwy 8 and turn north on County 21. Stay on that street until you find the Trail Crossing sign just north of the pizza place/family restaurant on the left. There's a small parking lot right by the trail crossing sign. The sroup of shrubs is only 100 yards in, right past an old driveway that goes off to the south. Linda Sparling Hennepin County
