For anyone interested in a laid back & relaxing evening of enjoying dinner with birdwatchers, savoring a brewskie or two (optional), and talking about happenings in the world of birds; there is a Birds & Beers taking place in Duluth on Monday, July 16th. This month's Birds and Beers will meet at Sir Ben's Tavern on the Lake, located at 805 East Superior Street in Duluth. This little locally-owned bar has one of the largest selections of microbrew on tap (in Duluth), offers delicious food, and hosts a great view of the Lake Superior.
The birds and beers evening starts at 6pm, and will go until 9pm or so. Feel free to come and go as you please. For those of you who have never attended a night of Birds & Beers, and to those who have - the Birds & Beers evenings are a fun time to meet with fellow birdwatchers of all skill levels. Birds and beers is a particularly great way to find carpooling buddies for birding, talk about bird photography techniques, ask some questions about birds, play some for-fun bird trivia, catch up on recent bird sightings, and more. Let me know if you have further questions too. Hope to see you there.
