My husband Russ called me today to say he had seen a black billed magpie fly across State Highway 23 (Veterans Evergreen Memorial Highway) in Duluth. The location he gave was near the St. Louis River, in the vicinity of the Lake Superior College fire training center. (Approx. 1 mile west of Gary/New Duluth)
