A Brown Pelican was seen by Julian Sellers about 2:30 this afternoon in Chisago County. He was driving north on I-35 about a mile south of the Stacy exit when he saw the bird flying to the northwest. This is just north of the Carlos Avery Refuge. Lakes in the general direction where the bird was

Hey birders! The Brown Pelican on German Lake was still present at 8:30 this morning. I found the bird on the extreme southwest side of the lake where it was loafing on a rock in a small bay. The good news is that this bird was easily viewable from the road and did not require a boat to view.
