The seasonal report form has been updated to make it easier to enter a GPS
location for bird sightings.

Location can be set as a block number (T120R25b),
latitude and longitude in decimal degrees (45.18845,-93.78422),
degrees minutes (45 11.307,-93 47.053),
degrees minutes seconds (45 11 18.42,-93 47 3.18),
or common form (N45 11.307 W93 47.053).

Note the comma between the latitude and longitude.

Click on Location to show a map of the location. You can move the pointer to
display the exact location of the nest.

I have found that if you make a waypoint on a Garmin GPS, you can brimg up the
properties of the waypoint and get the latitude/longitude in the form (N45
11.307 W93 47.053). This can be cut-and-pasted into the seasonal report form.
Click on location, close the map, indicate breeding status, set the date, and
double click on the species. This is a simple way to enter seasonal report
birds.
