[mou-net] Grasshopper Sparrows

I've located seven singing male grasshopper sparrows in an old mining tailings basin in St. Louis County. There are two clusters of three birds, and one off by itself. I've mapped out three of the territories, and spent a considerable amount of time in them, with no sign of females or a nest. I

[mou-net] Grasshopper Sparrows/Dakota Co.

Hi All-- Last Wednesday, John Holden and I found several Grasshopper Sparrows at the Great Western Industrial Park north of Randolph, Dakota Co. The birds were easily photographed as they sang from fence posts and tall weeds. My photos are on this morning's blog: http://dantallmansbirdblog.blogs
