An adult Golden-crowned Sparrow, found earlier in the day by Laurie Wachholz, was very cooperative for numerous birders this evening at Lake Camelot Park in Plymouth, just west of 494, south of county highway 47. Take the Bass Lake Road exit from 494, and go east. Go south at county 61, then west on county 47, under 494, and continue about a half mile west, then turn south on Cheshire Parkway. Park in the small parking lot on the east side of Cheshire Parkway, across from Trillium Woods Senior Living. The bird was observed from this parking lot, feeding in the grass.
