After a lot of activity at the JFBell Nature Area (Golden Valley, Hennepin 
County) involving sparrows, bluebirds, a female tanager and a few warblers the 
weather cleared. A small flock of Turkey Vultures appeared, a few sharp shins, 
a flyover Harrier and a close encounter with a Cooper Hawk. Before leaving, a 
very large bird started to soar directly at us and then over us ( only about 
60ft or so). What we assumed to be a larger raptor become a raven (non-verbal) 
that could be easily seen and identified. Bird was heading southwest and not
