First American or Painted Lady Butterfly today, seen fluttering over front
walk. I didn't look close enough to tell which one it was. Hope to see it
again tomorrow!
Usually the first one I see is Mourning Cloak. Hmmm.

Hi.
I enjoyed watching a flock of 40 Hudsonian Godwits fly into the Lincoln WPA
southwest of Lake Crystal shortly after noon today. They were quite a
beautiful sight. Also present are American Golden-plovers, Pectoral Sandpipers
and both yellowlegs. Thanks to Chad and Bob for their previous r
