The International Rusty Blackbird Working Group (IRBWG) is looking for a MN
state coordinator to promote reporting of Rusty Blackbird sightings during
spring migration, mid-March to mid-April. Check out the project info and
website below. Interested? Contact Judith Scarl for more information,
jsc...@vtecostudies.org<mailto:jsc...@vtecostudies.org>.

"Beginning in Spring 2014 and continuing annually through 2016, the IRBWG is
spearheading a huge Spring Migration Blitz that will span 38 states, 9 Canadian
provinces, and 3 Canadian territories. Our objectives are to determine
important migratory stopover sites and evaluate consistency of numbers and
timing of stopover occurrence in order to influence future research,
monitoring, and conservation opportunities. We just released a new Migration
Blitz website where you can find information about time lines, goals,
background, etc: http://rustyblackbird.org/outreach/migration-blitz/. We've
also got a Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/rustyblackbirdspringblitz";
