Stearns County Three juncos were at the house at Avon, Stearns County on 09-27, along with a bunch of yellow-rumped warblers (15-18). Stearns, Wright & Meeker Counties Flocks of Franklin's gulls were hawking insects over lakes and large wetlands. I'm sure in all I saw over 1000 birds. There were ring-billed gulls as well, but perhaps only 100 or so total, and mostly only over larger lakes. Sherburne County There were 2 juncos under my bird feeder at Sherburne NWR headquarters this afternoon. Betsy Beneke
