Hi All—

Last Thursday, Gerry Hoekstra and I photographed several Lark Sparrows at
the Louisville Swamp Unit of the MN Valley NWR in northern Scott County.
The birds were feeding in a burned prairie area, the type of habitat the
species often prefers. My photos are on my blog this morning (I believe
Gerry posted his on the MOU website).

Sorry for my late posting—it is hard to keep up in the blog with the rush
of spring birds.
