This is just a quick notice about the upcoming "Masters of the Sky" programs hosted at Carpenter Nature Center on March 3rd & 4th.
The World Bird Sanctuary will be in town with 5-7 trained birds of prey from around the world, including an Egyptian Vulture and a Eurasian Eagle Owl. The one-hour programs include fascinating natural history information and flight demonstrations by some of the birds, including the ghostly Barn Owl. Programs times are: 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. both days. (The 11:00 a.m. Saturday program is sold out already!) Tickets are $10 a person or $7 for "Friends of CNC".
