A golden eagle trying to get a muskrat out of its house in the pond in our

It may have been the snowy owl, not so surprising given that this was at
the Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport in a season when there were many reports
from along the runways of snowy owls. My plane was at the top of a runway
waiting for the signal to go, and there sat the dingy snowy owl on a cell
One summer about 10 years ago when I was living in Kalamazoo, MI there was a
period of about a week where there were 2 Mississippi Kites (one juvenile and
one adult) and 1 Swallow-tailed Kite hanging out at an Apple Orchard. It was
amazing seeing the Swallow-tailed Kite flying above our heads
foot in front of
the other.
