Dear MN birders,

I spent an hour this morning discovering how frustrating Henslow's Sparrows
are! There were at least 5 singing south of 30-31. I finally got a look at one
bird, otherwise they were very good at skulking!

I walked the forest trails yesterday (bad weather) and this morning and found
no Ceruleans. Are they not back yet? I tried around markers 2,10,11 and
13-14-15. I'm here for another day and would love to see one. Are there any
other local breeding populations that would be easy from the Twin Cities area?
I had a suggestion for Cannon River? Are they back there?

Thanks!
Neil
