John Hockema just called to report that he and Dedrick Benz found a Nelson's Sparrow at Whitewater Wildlife Management Area in Wabasha County. The bird was seen by walking along the dike about 200 yards out from CR 74. The dike begins near fire number 14947. This is apparently a first county record
