[mou-net] Northern Hawk Owl at Sax Zim

Apologies for the lateness of this post. Susan and I had a Northern Hawk Owl in the Sax Zim bog on Saturday. We first saw it at 1:10pm and it was still there at 3:00pm when we left the area for Duluth. We could not locate a Great Gray, but had good looks at a small flock of BB Magpies as well a

Birders, We had a NORTHERN HAWK-OWL in Sax-Zim bog this evening from 6:00 to 6:10 pm. It was actively hunting on both sides of the road 2.3 miles north of the train tracks on McDavitt Rd. A cooperative male BLACK-BACKED WOODPECKER was in the same area. Good birding, Cory Gregory & Ashley Case
