In addition to the Little Blue Heron, Lark Bunting, and Lazuli Buntings
found by our group (consisting of Dave Bartkey, Dedrick Benz, Ben
Fritchman, John Hockema, Andy Nyhus, Brian Smith, and myself) this weekend,
we found a few other notable sightings in Nobles and Pipestone counties:

County

- Eastern Towhee near gate to Pipestone sewage ponds (same location as our
second Lazuli)

- Lark Sparrow in Nobles County along Ulrich Ave. south of 150th St.

- two Scarlet Tanagers at Olson Park on the southwest side of Lake Okabena
in Worthington

- 15 species of warbler in Nobles County yesterday, with the greatest
concentration encountered in Kinbrae (highlighted by Cape May)

- 16 species of warbler in Pipestone County today, with the greatest
concentration encountered at Pipestone National Monument (highlighted by
Golden-winged)

- late Horned Grebes on Pipestone sewage ponds along with a flock of
lingering Snow Geese
