Note: Registration/application deadline this Sunday 2/28/2016

Thanks to the support from the Minnesota Ornithologist's Union (Savaloja
Grant), Audubon Minnesota and the City of Saint Paul Natural Resources
department are offering educators free training and curriculum materials to
help bring bird education to students through the Flying Wild Curriculum
http://www.flyingwild.org/.

We are offering two Flying WILD workshops in late March. Presented by DNR staff
and Flying Wild facilitators, workshops will equip formal and informal
educators with new skills and ideas to teach youth about the natural spaces
around them with an emphasis on birds.

All are welcome to register/apply. If space is limited, preference will be
given to educators reaching youth in Saint Paul that are typically underserved
by environmental education (see scholarship guidelines
https://www.stpaul.gov/sites/default/files/Media%20Root/Parks%20%26%20Recreation/Flying%20WILD%20Workshop%20Scholarship%20Guidelines.pdf).

Dates/locations:
Friday March 25th at the Como Streetcar Station
OR
Saturday the 26th at the Lake Phalen Lakeside Activity Center
Time: 9:00 to 12:00pm

Participants will receive the Flying Wild curriculum materials which are full
of educational activities, training featuring some of the activities in action
as well as continuing education credit.
