We updated our photo website, www.FlightofNature.com after not having done
so for some time. The number of new bird photos we've added is too long a

Since last notifying you, we have traveled to southern Texas (again!),
Nebraska, and South Dakota.
In Texas we returned, for a second time, to the Martin Refuge. Again, we

Hi everyone! Kevin and myself spent a couple of weeks last month photograph
birds along the Gulf Coast of Texas and in the Rio Grande Valley area. We
got forty Life Birds (birds we had never seen before) on this trip!! Two
"finds" were really exciting, the Rose-throated Becard, and the
Bare-thro
We've once again posted new images on our website. We were lucky enough to
watch Whooping Cranes in the Necedah National Wildlife Reserve (in
Wisconsin) training with an ultralite for their migration to western Florida
and have included a photo from that. Also, most of our photos now have a

Kevin and I photographed Black Bears at the Vince Shute Wildlife Sanctuary
in Orr, MN last weekend. If you are not familiar with it, you can check it
out at www.americanbear.org. We would highly recommend a visit there.
We have updated our website with black bear photos and the following bird
Kevin and I returned to Florida March 13th - 23rd to photograph birds again.
This time we went to St. Augustine (again!), Kissimmee, and the Panhandle.
The focus of our last trip (December/January) was on Great Blue Herons in
their breeding plumage. The focus this trip was on Snowy and Great Egret
February 1st Kevin and I headed to Monticello to photograph Trumpeter Swans.
The weekend of February 6th we headed to Lock and Dam 18 in Burlington, Iowa
to photograph Bald Eagles and American White Pelicans. Some of the photos
we took from these two areas are now on our website along with photos
My Husband and I spent two weeks in Florida during the recent holidays
photographing birds. We obtained 29 Life Birds! Having visited three
different rookeries (St. Augustine, Venice, Brandon), we were able to
