I stopped by Purgatory Creek, Eden Prairie (Hennepin Co.) yesterday (Tuesday) after work. This is the pond south of Highway 212 at Prairie Center Drive and Technology Drive behind the Flagship office building and Flagship Athletic Club. I counted 430 Caspian Terns, down slightly from last week and 12 small terns, mostly Fosters, but with at least one Common Tern. Also seen were a Dunlin, a Ruddy Turnstone, several Spotted Sandpipers, and a couple of Least or Semi-Palmated Sandpipers.
