Sax-Zim Bog
 
1 Northern Hawk Owl (intersection of Sax Rd and CR 7...wandered N & S from this 
area a bit...Caught a vole and cached it in a spruce...hunting must be good!)
1 Great Gray Owl (on Lake Nichols Road 1.5 miles E of CR 7...Hunting at midday 
2pm)
2-3 Black-backed Woodpeckers (3.5 miles south of Zim Rd. on McDavitt...Large 
are of worked tamaracks on E side)
White-winged Crossbills at many locations
[1 Boreal Chickadee at feeding station on Admiral Rd according to Jason...Also 
Gray Jays]
1 junco, 1 Snow Bunting, 1 Pine Siskin (Blue Spruce feeder), Bald Eagles, heard 
one flock Pine Grosbeaks
Beautiful day in the bog!
