We've had quite a few folks stopping by asking where they can find cuckoos.  I 
thought I'd share spots I know to look.  These are all along the Prairie's Edge 
Wildlife Drive.
 
In the trees along the right side of the drive around mile marker 1 - big right 
hand turn here.  Look and listen both before the turn and after the turn.
 
In the tree line on the right side of the drive, between 2.25 and 2.75 - near 
where the gallinules are located.
 
In the tree line on the left side of the drive between mile marker 5.5 and 6.2 
miles - in the area of Stickney Pool and the eagle nest.
 
FYI - There are mile marker posts every 1/2 mile along the drive, except for a 
couple that are missing.  These mile markers are a GREAT tool I encourage us 
all to use when sharing information about bird-finding on our wildlife drive.
