Seven birders spent several hours at Vale WMA this morning looking for the male Lazuli Bunting without success. If anyone still wants to try, the road to turn off of CR6 is 270th St. Keep following 270th until you climb out of the valley of High Island Creek and look for the WMA parking lot on your right. Walk the old road that goes north out of the parking lot till it ends and hang a left into the woods on a trail. The trail goes down a steep hill and eventually comes out in a brushy meadow that borders the creek. The bird was seen in this area at 1 PM yesterday.
