about 75 yards NE of the intersection. We watched it for about 10 minutes.

The Snowy Owl adult previously reported is still being seen in the area along
700 St. between 120th Ave. and the Dodge Co./Steele Co. line (the last utility
pole going west on 700th). This morning at 8:00 the owl was located between
120th Ave and 110th on a utility pole on a barricaded lane
An adult Snowy Owl was sighted today around 5:20 PM about 1/2 mile east of CR 3
on 710th St. (CR 4). The owl was sitting on top of a utility pole. As I
frantically backed up the car it flew out and landed in the plowed field then
flew back to another pole. Close enough to be a yard bird. My
The previously reported Snowy Owl in SW Dodge Co. has been refound (refound
us). Perhaps our best yard bird ever! My wife, Rebecca, saw the owl behind
our house on top of a grain bin about 5 PM Tuesday.

For those of you still searching for the previously reported Snowy Owl in Dodge
Co. I spotted the owl atop a utility pole on CR 3 between 660th St and 670th St
(CR W) at 4:20 Monday. This is further north than any of the reported
sightings.

A group of us birded our way from central Iowa to northeastern Minnesota today.
We relocated the Snowy Owl in Dodge County this morning at 10:15 am. The owl
was 0.25 miles east of CR-3 (130th Ave) and just south of CR-4 (710th St), on
the south side of a drainage ditch and along a fence line
On the way home today I was thinking it would be a perfect time for a SNOWY
OWL. Sure enough about 2 miles from home there was a first year male or female
atop a utility pole. I slowed down just enough to make the ID and then rushed
home and picked up my wife to come back for another look.
