Today around 2 p.m. I found a Surf Scoter at the Stokman SWMA just north east of the town of Minnesota Lake while birding with John and Chris Hockema. Earlier in the morning we re-found the 3 surf scoters and 1 black scoter that Dedrick Benz found yesterday at the Wells WTP. We also found a fourth Surf Scoter in 1 other pond by itself.
