Tomorrow I will be leading the annual MRVAC Dakota County Prairie Birds field trip. We’ll travel by car to various prairie and grassland sites in Dakota County where these beautiful birds flourish. Meet at Schaar's Bluff (Spring Lake Park) parking lot. This trip involves little walking. Target birds include Brewer's Blackbird, Swainson's Hawk, Dickcissel, Bobolink, both Meadowlarks, Lark Sparrow, Grasshopper Sparrow. Bring lunch. As with other MRVAC field trips, this is free and open to the public. No reservations are needed.
