We got lost looking for the Chamber of Commerce, but we did not strike out in
finding White-winged crossbills in Plymouth. A small flock were in the spruce
trees along Shelard Parkway (West from 169). We parked in the parking lot of
the Willow Creek 12 Theaters. We were able to get great looks
A flock of about 20 were feeding at eye-level on the small planted spruces on
the west side of the TwinWest Chamber of Commerce parking lot. I was able to
pull my car right up and they ate right in front of me. What I thought was
interesting is how some of them would yank the entire cone off
