I had a male Eastern Bluebird work his way across the yard today, a big surprise for me as we are on the shore of Lake Waconia in a primarily wooded lot FOY and new yard bird, too! The rookery on the island in Lake Waconia is quite active with Great Blue Herons, haven't seen any Egrets yet.

Spent some time looking around the lake early this PM. One Surf Scoter was seen in the southeast area, then it flew to the northeast area where it was seen again about an hour later. As there were a lot of users on the lake (primarily sail boarders and parachute boarders using the high winds)
