My 11-yo son and I were tickled to spot a well-camouflaged American woodcock in our urban backyard rain garden a couple blocks north of Minnehaha Creek in the Ericsson neighborhood of South Minneapolis. Thanks to Mike Engh for help with identification! Photos through the window are here:
