In spite of the miserable weather our regular feeder visitors seem to be doing 
well.
Unusual visitors for our location and season:
For the past several weeks
4 American Tree Sparrows 
a lone White-throated Sparrow
4-6 Mourning Doves
a single female Yellow-shafted Flicker

Also 12 Robins dropped by yesterday and sampled berries from a viburnum bush, 
-4F at the time.
Odd observances include NO activity at Nyjer feeders and only a handful of 
Goldfinches
all of which are on the ground foraging #2 sunflower. The latter are joined by 
30-40 House Finch,
numbers I have never experienced here in 15 years counting for PFW.

Personal opinion: sunny, 0F, and windless absolutely beats cloudy, 24F, and 
gale force wind for outdoor activity.
