The White-eyed Vireo was refound this morning. It was somewhat to the
south of the previous directions, where the perimeter trail, the ski trail,
and the fence are all very close to each other (but do not intersect).
There are large brush piles along the perimeter trail there that it was
seen on,

Based on reports of others who relocated the White-eyed Vireo at Wood Lake
Nature Center about 8:00 this morning, I was able to relocate an adult
White-eyed Vireo about 10:00 a.m. Tom Tustison, Ron Taube (who took definitive
photos), and many other observers subsequently saw the vireo

consensus was a juvenile White Eyed Vireo this morning at Woodlake Nature

I exchanged emails with Dave Zumeta and It seems clear that my photos showed an
Adult White Eyed Vireo so I wanted to make a correction here. Sorry for the

There is an adult non-breeding plumage Pacific Loon that is swimming a couple
hundred yards offshore from the kathio state park beach area on Mille Lacs
County Road 35 or the scenic route along Mille Lacs Lake. Observed swimming
with five other common loons of both adult and juvenile

Just had a phone call from Dave Pavlik, and he reports an adult Lesser
Black-backed Gull, as
well as 2 Thayer's Gulls from the south end of Lake Calhoun. He'll be there
until dark should
anyone wish some assistance finding the birds.
