On Saturday around 11 AM I reported finding a pair of Blue Grosbeaks in SW LQP County. Both birds flew west about 200 feet where the Male perched on the upper branch of a brush pile with the female just below. In good light I got a great look at both of them, the male in beautiful adult plumage.

Yesterday at 4 PM we located a Blue Grosbeak previously found by Josh Wallestad at the Danube brush pile in Renville County! Today in LQP county around 11 AM I found a pair of Blue Grosbeaks north of 150 St on 127 Ave S on the west side of the road near a brush pile. 30 minutes later I relocated

Today around 3 PM I found two Trumpeter Swans on Crane Lake near Ridgedale, We live just south of Crane Lake and yesterday Mary Lou heard and saw them flying overhead. 6 weeks ago they ( or a different pair) were seen at the same place. There was also a Common Loon and a Great Egret present
