Yepp, checking out the code from the cvs worked better, though there was
still 1 (minor) problem. The makefile /directory/ldapsdk.mk contains a couple
of lines that break the build, i.ei it seems like all goes well, but it won't
actually create the shared libraries

Ran into some errors when i tried to install the ldap c sdk.
Here's an account of my adventures last friday:
1. Installed Mozilla milestone 18 on red hat 6.2, it build and works perfect.
2. Then I downloaded the following tarball: ldapsdk_12311998.tar
3. Checked all the necessary system and
