P3P support in Mozilla compared with IE6

P3P, Mozilla, and IE6 are all pretty new to me.  How does P3P support
work in Mozilla, and how does this compare with IE6's proposed support
(better/worse + technical differences).

I'm keen to be compliant with standards.
