Font smoothing under linux/kde?

I've installed xFree 4.x, I know it brought me the long-awaited font smoothing. In KDE it works fine. But when I'm surfing the web with moz 0.9.6 I notice that the smoothing isn't active in the browser, is there any way to turn font smoothing on? thanks, jens
