On win98SE, there have ben problems reported. And the rest of
the bugs keep me off N6.01 - not beca
All of the things you point out below are PC issues that I have not
experienced on a Mac, which is what I use at home. I use a PC at work,
and so far 6.01 seems all right in that environment, but it's still
early for me to make a judgement.

I know that Mozilla is ahead of 6.01. But on my Mac, the mail side of
Mozilla is not complete, and that's probably more important to me than
the browser. If the browser displays nicely with speed, and allows me to
use my scroll mouse, I have few complaints. But if the mail side lacks a

I know that you're correct. However, the mail program in Mozilla is
incomplete. There is no spell checker and on my Mac, I get a repeated
and persistent error message with ever mail operation I try to
accomplish. So right now, NS 6.01, is just fine. Understand, NS 6
wouldn't start on my machin
Yeah but doesn't the mail program in 6.01 do that stuff? I attach and
forward and auto check for messages. Now remember, this is the Mac version.
Frankly, if I didn't have a spell checker I couldn't conduct business.
That's how bad a speller I am and how judgmental the people I work with are.

Not on a Mac...
there are about 10 more bugs in netscape

I don't think Mozilla has a spell checker and for me, that's the most
important element of a mail suite. It also picks up my AOL mail and
while I realize that feature is anathema to some of you, I have to be
practical about browsers.
And what about the ongoing error message in Mozilla mail? Ha

6.01 is just Moz0.6 plus a very few crash fixes, all of which have also gone
into the trunk. If you're used to recent Mozilla builds it would be a big
step backwards.

As much as I like Mozilla, I don't really think you'll find much

a fully functional mail suite, including a spell checker, which Mozilla

Hello
After deinstalling Netscape 6.01 (what a disapointment!) I am unable to
install mozilla! When I execute the mozilla-win-installer it unpacks
everthing and ends up in the following error message:
