Upgraded to KDE 2.1.1.
Now Flash works with Mozilla 0.8.1
I have no idea why this fixed it.
Still no RealPlayer or Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Check about:plugins and see if it's being picked up. If not, check out Bugzilla to see
if a bug is already open. This problem sort of sounds like the one mentioned in the
comments of bug 74938.

shockwave enabled pages...I followed the instructions for a Netscape install,
and copied the libflashplayer.so
