Maybe someone can give me some advice re the Java plugin.

I'm running a recent nightly on Redhat 7.1

My browser reports I need a JRE - it takes me to a Netscape site to 
download jre.xpi, and says words to the effect that it will install the 
jre. But it doesn't and basiccaly quits.

I have the jre.xpi but don't know what to do with it. How do I unpack 
it, where do I put it?

Maybe more importantly to the Mozilla project, why isn't the auto 
install working?
