John, if you want to use your existing 1.3.1 JRE instead of installing a
new one, symlink the libjavaplugin_oji.so file in your JDK to Mozilla's
plugins directory.
The file libjavaplugin_oji.so is usually found in
$JA
If you have the JRE installed, you should already have the plugin
installed. Just do 'locate libjavaplugin_oji.so' and link(ln -s )
to the file from the plugin directory in mozilla.
