Hi all
finally saved up and bought a copy of Visual C++, and tried my hand
at compiling the source code - 3.83 beta. Ran into numerous errors,
managed to get around them, but this one has me going insane. When
linking, the following error message jumps onscreen:

I think the Ogg format of LAME is still under heavy construction... Go to
http://www.xiph.org and search the message archieve of Ogg Vorbis for
links to binaries of the Vorbis Encoders.

Yes they are. It would be silly to try encoding full frequency range at 96.
