some more results on the gcc farm
the APP tests passed for gcc20 gcc14 gcc16 gcc17 gcc13 gcc12 gcc11 gcc15 gcc47 
gcc46 Babe gcc54 grobluk dingo

the APP tests failed on gcc45 due to ecm not recognizing the cpu correctly 
without setting flags or configuring the build exactly

failed on gcc40 due to mpir choosing one ABI and mpfr choosing another , 
basically we choose the best but mpfr chooses the default

failed on gcc42 due to mpir failing to compile with gcc-4.3 as C and C++ ABI 
are different

failed on gcc33 due to mpfi tests needing more memory and no way to reduce it
