For some time I have been expecting that it would eventually be possible to build MPIR (and GMP) for Windows x64 using mingw64, the 64- bit version of the GCC compiler aand related tools now available here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/mingw-w64/ I would be interested in any experience people have with this 64-bit GCC compiler running on Windows x64. I am using it and I am quite impressed by its performance but I have not been able to build either MPIR (or GMP) with it as I don't have all the necessary tools installed. Has anyone been able to build MPIR 1.3.1 or GMP 5.0.1 x64 static libraries with mingw-w64 tools? If so I would be interested in testing them. My aim is to update my coverage here: http://gladman.plushost.co.uk/oldsite/computing/gmp4win.php Brian Gladman -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "mpir-devel" group.
