I've uploaded MPIR 1.3 alpha 2 at http://www.mpir.org/
This fixes some assembly issues discovered by Jeff Gilchrist during testing. I am going away over the weekend, but will hopefully have short intervals of internet connectivity during which I can upload docs which are the only thing missing to make this MPIR 1.3 RC1.
